database beans don't work with Unicode Strings LOG>>
I will look into the Unicode issue you mentioned in your last message. The
current version does not support streaming Unicode into the database, but
don't think it will be very difficult to correct this. I'll keep you
posted.

Another possibility might be that you're using an AsciiStream instead of
a UnicodeStream to set the PreparedStatement parameter, and therefore
this messes up the Japanese text.
